September 16 @ 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
From the bold drifts of the Dutch Wave to the ecological focus of New Naturalism and the wild beauty of Rewilding, these influential planting movements have sparked unique conversations about garden design. Garden designer and NHS Board Member Sue Goetz explores the origins, defining characteristics and key designers behind these movements. Discover how they differ, where they overlap, and how each approach connects plants, ecology and seasonality. Drawing from some of the UK’s most inspiring gardens (many from the 2026 NHS tour to Devon and Cornwall), Sue will help you interpret these styles for your own landscape—whether a small urban spot or a larger property. Discover practical ideas for creating resilient, nature-connected gardens that build a sense of place.
