July 5 – 18, 2027
Join NHS member and Host Bruce Wakefield on an extensive tour of Brittany, a unique region in northwestern France. Situated on a jutting continental arm into the Atlantic, this mountainous and forested land is steeped in its Celtic roots. Not only will we see fine gardens, we will also visit prehistoric megalith sites as well as the region’s finest chateaux and medieval fortified towns.


June 24 – July 5, 2027
Join NHS member and host Bruce Wakefield on this garden-centric, island hopping tour of the British Islands of Wight, Guernsey, Herm, Sark and Jersey. Before our island explorations, we will visit outstanding gardens on the southern English mainland as we make our way from Winchester to the Isle of Wight. With their mild maritime climate offering ideal conditions for growing a wide palette of vegetation, our journey will see the finest gardens and include sites of cultural and historical interest too.
September 1-7, 2026
Experience some of the most impressive gardens of the Brandywine Valley, nestled between the hills of Delaware and Pennsylvania. On this 6-night escorted tour we will explore a diverse range of private and public gardens, learning about creative garden design, skilled plant cultivation, horticulture research, flowers and foliage galore. Plus, we’ll experience two of North America’s premier public gardens: Chanticleer and Longwood Gardens.

June 27 through July 8, 2026
Savor England’s most iconic gardens, both historic and contemporary, on a tailor-made tour led by NHS Board Member Sue Goetz and seasoned Tour Manager Lois Moss. We will visit 20 public and private gardens, ranging from the iconic and deeply influential – Sissinghurst Castle Garden and Great Dixter – to more contemporary landscapes – Piet Oudolf’s garden at Hauser & Worth and Keith Wiley’s Wildside. We’ll journey to the Cornish hillsides and coast, where the Gulf Stream creates a milder climate where a wide variety of plants, including exotic and tropical, flourish. Other highlights include the private garden of James Hitchmough, Knepp’s Walled Garden and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. There is also an optional day visit to the breathtaking Tresco Abbey Garden on the Scilly Isles.

Immerse yourself in the rich biodiversity and verdant beauty of Costa Rica on a nine-day tour led by NHS Board member Daniel Sparler. We will experience the Green Ark Botanical Garden, surrounded by over 1600 species of ornamental tropical species and fruit trees, one of Central America’s most extensive collection of flora. Other spectacular destinations include the Mistico Hanging Bridges, Nectandra Cloud Forest Garden, La Catalina Botanical Garden, and more.
