Plant Community: Gardens as Social Infrastructure with Chris Fehlhaber

Members: FREE,  Non-members: $20. Members must register to watch live and to receive the recording. Recording will be available to all registrants for 4 weeks after the event.

June 7, 2025 @ 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

For the past decade, Chris Fehlhaber has engaged in public and private garden projects in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, including eight yeas as a horticulturalist at Chanticleer. He believes that dynamic gardens at existing sites of social infrastructure — like public libraries and community centers — provide the most profound impact and value in their communities. He is deeply committed to raising the public’s consciousness and appreciation of enriching, progressive horticulture. He will inspire and motivate us with an overview of these powerful principles and projects.

Speaker’s Bio:

Chris Fehlhaber holds degrees in landscape architecture-natural resources and environmental studies from the University of Wisconsin. He regularly writes, teaches, and speaks on plants and gardening. He is the Perennial Plant Association’s Mid-Atlantic regional director and a co-host on The Native Plant Podcast.
