Co-authors Debra Prinzing and Robin Avni’s lushly photographed just-published book, “The Flower Farmers: Inspiration & Advice from Expert Growers” (Abrams Books), spotlights 29 stand-out growers, including a bracing mix of established industry leaders and innovative newcomers, many from our region. Each grower shares their story and passion, detailing their specialty knowledge, seasonal practices and favorite new varieties. Dedicated sidebars share these experts’ tips on everything from raising a unique cultivar to the best floral varieties for long lasting arrangements. Debra and Robin will generously present some of the book’s most valuable information and inspiration, and will take part in a Q&A and book signing after their presentation. Peonies from Monroe-based JARN Co. Flowers will be available for purchase!
