Explore the propagation greenhouse and experience the Crevice Garden designed and built by Kenton Seth and Paul Spriggs. Observe and learn about the stunning range of plants that flourish in Port Townsend’s unique climate. After the tour you will have an opportunity to shop for plants, although for efficiency’s sake, please order online ahead of time for pickup on the day of the tour. 

Founders’ Bios:

Longtime plant explorers and preservationists Kelly and Sue are renowned for their thrilling collection of plants, many of which they have propagated from their own seed collecting trips around the world. The mission of FRBC is to facilitate the acquisition and introduction to North America of threatened and vulnerable ornamental plants of known wild provenance as well as from cultivated sources. FRBC maintains these plants as a living reference collection for public educational and scientific purposes, with the goal of conservation through cultivation via distribution to botanic and public gardens, botanists, researchers, as well as professional and amateur gardeners and horticulturists.
