Members: $40. Non-members: $45.
March 26 @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Learn how to grow and harvest flowers and foliage from your own garden, no matter how small its square footage. In this intimate, in-person class aimed at beginning growers, Sarah will walk through the steps to creating a thriving home cutting garden, focusing on sustainable techniques and growing in small spaces. Sarah will share the rewards of connecting with the seasons’ rhythms and how flower-growing helps us appreciate up close the hard work of pollinators. This class will be presented through a photo-rich PowerPoint presentation and will include time to ask questions.
Instructor’s bio:
Sarah is the founder of Grow Girl Seattle. She transformed her driveway, backyard and sidewalk strip into cutting gardens and now grows a stunning range of flowers in her very small lot in Seattle. She maximizes the variety and longevity of her bounty by using succession planting throughout the year. She loves the changing seasons and expressing that through her floristry work.
